Shabbona Lake Tournament Results

We had 15 teams entered in our tournament with over 40 high school students participating, but unfortunately only one fish was brought into the scales. Adam Galardini from Batavia High School (right) caught the winning fish, which was 17.5" and 3.1 pounds.

Besides the slow fishing, and the incoming wind and cold front, it was a great day to be on the water. The students really enjoyed the opportunity to get out and fish, and we appreciated Shabbona's hospitality.

After the tournament we cooked hot dogs for all the students. All participants who stayed for the hot dogs received a Gander Mountain hat and "Gander Bucks" donated by gander Mountain. We also raffled off 4 tackle boxes donated from Plano Molding.
